Everything you need to know about Pet Adoption

Hello Hoomans,

It's me, Repaw again! So first of all, Congratulations for bringing yourself to this page.

The fact that you're here, reading this means that you are ready to save a life!

Now, being a cat myself, I can tell you that we are pretty low maintenance but we do need your unconditional love, care & attention. I also want you enlighten you with a miserable fact that many of my fellow cats are homeless, starving & tortured; some of us lucky ones have gotten the opportunity to call the Red Paw Foundation our home. Red Paw Foundation is however a non-profit organization which means, it needs more hoomans to come forward and adopt many of us here at the foundation. The volunteers at Red Paw are doing everything they can to give us a foster home but y'all need to step up!

Consider this as my humble plea/wake-up call to ADOPT pets instead of SHOPPING.

Also, are you aware as what all goes behind selling animals for money?
{It's a dillusionary which I will narrate to you some other time }

Okay, so here's what you need to know about my knight in shining armor, Red Paw Foundation & it's adoption procedure-

1. The Red Paw Foundation is a non-profit organization that is registered the Community Development Authority via Emirates Animal Welfare Society.

2. They rescue abused and injured cats and dogs. The Red Paw Foundation vaccinates, microchips and neuters all our rescue cats and dogs, and keep them in their own homes, giving them love and care until they are fully recovered and healthy enough to be adopted.

3. A second major area of the foundation’s operation is TNR - Trap, Neuter, Release. The Red Paw Foundation aims to aid the UAE government in controlling the population levels of cats and dogs in the UAE, and they accomplish this by trapping and neutering street cats, and then releasing them back into safe areas of the country once they've deemed they are healthy and strong enough to survive.

4. The Red Paw Foundation believes that the earth is the natural habitat of cats and dogs, and their mission is not to house every single street cat and dog in the UAE. Rather, they strive to control the cat and dog population level in the UAE, while at the same time finding loving, adoptive homes for those cats and dogs that have suffered either at the hands of humans or the environment, and are too weak to fend for themselves on the streets.

5. They believe in the policy of adopting, not buying. All of their animals have immense amounts of love to give. They are not toys or gifts, and continuing to buy animals only makes the overpopulation problem in the UAE worse.

6. If you are interested in fostering or adopting any of my siblings, the you need to visit www.facebook.com/RedPawFoundation/ and drop my homies a message. You can also drop in your enquiry at contact@redpawfoundation.org

7. You will then be sent a form basis which you will be contacted to meet the pet you choose to foster/adopt.

8. Once you meet my fam-jam (The Red Paw Foundation Team) in person, all you need to do is show us your Emirates ID and take my sibling home with you for one-two weeks post which IF YOU CHOOSE to Adopt, the contract is prepared and signed off.

9. Please be rest assured that this procedure is not just simple & friendly but flexible as well. All you need to do is get in touch with my homies. Also, now that all the cats are vaccinated and the ones over one year (of age) are neutered as well.

10. See you all on the next Adoption Day! We all will be waiting for you!

Meowfully Yours,
Repaw😽
